1. Acceptance of Terms & Scope of Services

By creating an online booking, submitting a down payment, or participating in any tour experience organized by Female Guide Bali (PT Female Guide Bali) ("the Company," "we," "us"), you ("the Guest," "Client," or "Traveller") irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all private day tours, multi-day journeys, customized itineraries, transportation arrangements, and related concierge activities booked through our platform (femaleguidebali.com).

2. Tour Reservations & Invoicing

  • Accuracy of Guest Information: The Client must provide accurate legal names, active WhatsApp contact numbers, valid email addresses, and precise hotel/villa pickup addresses during checkout.
  • Digital Confirmation: A reservation is officially confirmed only upon successful payment verification through our DOKU Jokul gateway and the issuance of a unique Booking Code (e.g. FGB-YYYYMMDD-XXXX) and digital invoice via Brevo.
  • Currency & Pricing: All tour prices are published in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), inclusive of government taxes and service charges, with zero hidden booking fees.

3. Down Payment (30%) & Balance Settlement

To offer maximum financial flexibility, we provide two transparent payment options:

  1. Down Payment (30%): Locks your female guide, dedicated vehicle, and reserved attraction slots. The remaining 70% balance is settled directly on the day of the tour prior to departure.
  2. Full Payment (100%): Settles the entire tour fee upfront, issuing an immediate Official E-Voucher with zero further on-site payments required.

On-site 70% balance payments may be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR cash) or via authorized instant bank transfer to your assigned female guide.

4. Payment Gateway & DOKU Jokul Checkout

All online transactions are securely routed through PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha (DOKU), a licensed Payment Gateway under Bank Indonesia supervision:

  • Invoice Expiration Window: Payment links expire after 60 minutes. Unpaid expired bookings are automatically released to prevent guide overbooking.
  • Cardholder Protection: Credit and debit card transactions utilize 3D-Secure multi-factor authentication (OTP) under PCI-DSS Level 1 security standards.
  • Fraud Prevention: Transactions flagged as fraudulent or unauthorized by DOKU are immediately voided.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refund Schedules

Approved refunds are credited to the original card or bank account within 3 to 7 business days depending on interbank clearing cycles.

6. Severe Weather & Force Majeure

If severe weather, maritime port closures (e.g. Nusa Penida/Gili fast boats), natural volcanic activity, or official government road closures prevent the safe execution of a tour:

  1. We will offer free rescheduling to another date during your stay.
  2. Or we provide a mutually agreed alternative cultural route of equal value.
  3. If neither option is viable, we issue a prompt 100% Full Refund.

7. Cultural Respect, Sacred Temple Etiquette & Conduct

Guests must observe Balinese sacred customs at all times:

  • Sacred Attire: Modest attire covering shoulders and knees is mandatory in temples. Sanitized traditional Balinese sarongs and sashes are provided complimentary on all cultural tours.
  • Zero Harassment: We maintain strict zero-tolerance policies regarding verbal abuse, harassment, or disrespectful conduct towards female guides, drivers, or local villagers.

8. Health, Physical Fitness & Safety Compliance

Certain outdoor adventure activities (e.g. Mount Batur sunrise trekking, ATV quad biking, Ayung river rafting, and open-water snorkeling) require reasonable physical fitness:

  • Guests must disclose significant medical conditions (e.g. pregnancy, heart conditions, severe asthma, mobility impairments) during booking.
  • Guests must wear provided safety equipment (helmets, life vests) and strictly adhere to safety briefings delivered by female guides and activity instructors.

9. Limitation of Liability & Mandatory Travel Insurance

While Female Guide Bali and its licensed transport partners maintain passenger vehicle insurance and certified activity safety protocols:

  • We strongly recommend that all international guests hold active comprehensive international travel, medical, and emergency evacuation insurance.
  • The Company shall not be held liable for personal property loss, flight delays, medical emergencies arising from undisclosed pre-existing conditions, or force majeure occurrences beyond reasonable operational control.

10. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Legal Inquiries

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Denpasar District Court (Pengadilan Negeri Denpasar), Bali.
